Drive ST1 Transportable Mobility Scooter

This excellent value mobility scooter has a maximum range of 6 miles and a top speed of 4mph. Helpful features like the comfortable padded height adjustable seat that swivels 360 degrees to allow easy access, and adjustable front steering arm (tiller), all users should be able to find a comfortable seated position. The non-marking puncture proof tyres are larger than previous models and so provide the ST1 with a higher ground clearance, additionally this scooter has anti-tip wheels and an anti-roll back safety device which prevents the scooter from rolling backwards on hills.

The easily located freewheel facility allows the scooter to be moved without switching the motor on, ideal for manoeuvring around the house or if the battery is removed or is discharged. The ST1 now comes with a removable front storage basket as standard, so it is ideal around shops and supermarkets. If you are using this scooter out on the pavements, or even just travelling from the car into the supermarket, then the illuminated controls and reflectors will make you safer as the light begins to fade.

The 2 x 10ah lead acid batteries are airline friendly and can be upgraded to lithium for extra range. The batteries come in a battery pack which can be removed for off board charging or left in place for onboard charging. There is a battery gauge on the dashboard so you can keep an eye on your range and so that you don't have to worry about running out of charge whilst out and about. This scooter is lightweight and designed to be transported so it is quick and easy to split and assembled.
